Abstract

Tobacco seeds were cultured by a modified floating tray system with applying nutrition amounts at different stages to study the effect of nutrition levels on mycorhiza development, growth, nutrition status and physiological activity of tobacco seedlings inoculated with or without AM fungi. The results showed that the higher Hoagland solution was,the higher plant biomass was,and the lower the fungus infection rate was,the smaller the mycorhiza effect was, when the range of Hoagland nutrition solution was 0.4~1.2 times. The infection rate of seedlings inoculated with AM fungi was up to 29.8% under 0.8 Hoagland solution and the aerial biomass,P content, and N,P and K absorption amount was significantly higher than CK and its seedling quality was the similar to that of seedlings under 1.2 Hoagland solution. The experiment results showed that the healthy and strong tobacco seedlings with mycorhiza could be obtained under the high nutrition condition.
