Edaravone In Treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of edaravone for acute cerebral infarction.Methods Total 92 patients were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in each group were given Cytidine Diphos phate Choline 1.0g and Ginkgo Biloba Extract 20ml injection,Aspirin 100mg once per day.The treatment group was given Edaravone injection 30mg twice per day.The treatment was 14 days for both groups.The ESS was used to evaluate the recovery of neurological functions.Results ESS increased significantly in study group compared with that of control group after treatment.No serious drug reaction were found in two groups.Conclusion Edaravone injection is effective and safe in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.
