Effectiveness evaluation of health education and health promotion project on hospital delivery in rural areas Shanxi Province

Objective To learn change of knowledge and behavior among target population before and after execution of project in order to explore methods and effectiveness of health education and health promotion. Methods A questionnaire was conducted among target population by multistage sampling. Results There were significant difference on knowledge rate and formation rate of health behavior about hospital delivery among target population before and after intervention. Influence of old conception on hospital delivery was reducing. Conclusion Health education and health promotion in rural areas can help target population to grasp health knowledge and set up health behavior and life style.
