Abstract
A real coupled simulation model of river water and groundwater was established. Using Preissmann latent different format and finite element method the models of surface river and groundwater were dispersed respectively. Finally the coupled model was solved by iterative method. As an example, the groundwater flow was simulated in lower Heihe river basin. The tendency of groundwater level was predicted under different exploitation situations of surface river and groundwater. These results provide scientific bases for water resource management.
