Abstract
The VP1 gene of Canine parvovirus was amplified by PCR and digested by BamHⅠ and NotⅠ,and was cloned into pIRESneo expressing vector.Recombinant plasmid pIRESVP1 was extracted and digested with enzymes and sequenced to confirm its rightness.Six dogs were injected at 9 months old with increasing doses of pIRESVP1 or pIRESneo and saline.All dogs were challenged with virulent CPV after the third injection.NAV vaccinated dogs serum showed a high IgG titer after the second injection and six dogs were protected against infection,while the control dogs were fully susceptible.This study demonstrated that NAV of CPV can protect dogs against virulent CPV.
