The Diagnostic Value of 64-slice CT Urography Technique in Urinary Tract Disease

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of 64-slice CT urography technique(MSCTU)in urinary tract disease.Methods:The imaging data of 53 patients with urinary system diseases who underwent CTU examination and were confirmed by surgery,pathology or cystoscopy,were retrospectively analyzed.Results:In 53 cases,there were 16 cases(30.2%)of ureteral stones,12 cases(22.6%) of urinary tract congenital malformations,10 case(18.9%) of urinary system tumors,7 cases(13.2%) of kidney stones,5 patients(9.4%)were extrinsic compression ureter stenosis,3 cases(5.7%) of bladder stones.Conclusion:64-slice CT urography has advantages of short scan time,high image resolution,and could multi-dimensional observation of lesions.The majority of urinary tract diseases can be accurately diagnosed.However,children and patients with renal insufficiency should be used with caution.
