Abstract
Objective To investigate the significance of 16-slice spiral computed tomography urography(CTU) in diagnosing urinary diseases. Methods 136 case with urinary diseases underwent 16-slice spiral CT scanner during nephrographic and excretory phases. The CTU images were obtained through the work station. Results Of the 136 patients,70 had calculus,17 had congenital malformation,24 had tumors, and 25 cases had other diseases.17 cases of congenital malformation and 7 cases of bladder replacement were confirmed by clinical data,23 cases of calculous by extracorporeal shock-wave lithotomy, and 80 cases by surgery or pathology. Conclusion CTU is a high value in diagnosing urinary lesions, and may replace KUB+IVP.
