Abstract

Objective This study observes PTEN expression in hepatocellular carcinoma and analysis the relationship between PTEN and clinical pathological features, liver tumor size, degree of differentiation, depth of invasion, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis. Methods To select 50 cases of HCC tissues of surgery which from in author's hospital from September 2005 to September 2010,the expression of PTEN in HCC tissue and normal tissues and in the different times of HCC tissue's clinical pathological situations were detected by immunohistochemical experimental statistical analysis using SPSS 16.0 statistical software.Results(1)in the differenttiation of liver cancer, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion, clinical stage of these pathological factors,PTEN expression exist significant differences, but the size of tumor expression was not statistically significant.(2)PTEN expression intensity with lymph node metastasis lower than without lymph node of PTEN expression, the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion(1)PTEN expression in hepatocellular carcinoma and intensity lower than normal liver tissue with HCC differentiation,TNM stage and tumor depth of invasion, suggesting that PTEN involved in cell differentiation and invasion processes. At the same time PTEN expression in lymph node metastasis and without lymph node metastasis of liver cancer tissues significant differences.(2)Hepatocellular expression of PTEN involved in cancer invasion and metastasis.
