Abstract

Radiotherapy is the primary means of treatment of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma, but radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells is the key to the success of radiation therapy. With the development of molecular biology, radiosensitivity is closely related to the abnormal expression of many genes in Nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells and even affect the efficacy of radiotherapy of patients with Nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The radiosensitivity related genes is considered to be the key to uncover the mysteries of radiosensitivity, radiotherapy combined with gene therapy may become one of the effective treatment of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Radiosensitivity related genes and its research progress is briefly reviewed in this paper.
