Abstract

Resistance to radiation is a main cause for the relapse and distance metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Over the years, researchers did lots of work on how to enhance the radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, with the development of gene technology, gene combining radiotherapy has become a newly developed approach for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which is increasing sensitivity of cancer cells by gene therapy and then combining with radiation to improve the therapeutic effect. Here is to make a review on the related genes for radiosensitizing and the current status.
