Abstract

Objective:To determine the contents in flowers, stems and leaves of Chrysanthemum morifolium(Ramat.),and provide a scientific basis for the exploitation and utilization of its leaves and stems. Methods:The chlorogenic acid was extracted by analytically pure methanol, and then determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The conditions for HPLC were as follows: the mobile phase was sodium dihydrogen phosphate buffer-methanol(82∶18) with a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min;The detection wavelength was 328 nm.Results:The content of chlorogenic acid in leaves was higher than that in flowers, and it was the lowest in stems. Conclusion:The leaves and stems of Chrysanthemum morifolium(Ramat.) should be furthered exploited in order to fully utilize its economic value.
