Abstract
Objective To observe the application and effect of small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation. Methods The surgery was performed on 689 eyes of 576 patiens suffered from cataract. The follow-up period was 6-12 months(averaged 9.5 months). Results The vision acuity of 96 eyes(13.93%) are better than 1.0 and 526 eyes are better than 0.5.No serious complications were found. Conclusion The small incision non-phacoemlsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation was safe, economical, practical and had a good effect.
