Abstract
Objective To observe the application and effect of small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation. Methods The surgery was performed on 326 eyes of 276 patients that suffered from cataract. The follow-up period was 6~12 months(averaged 8.5 months). Results The vision acuity of 46 eyes(14.11%) were better than 1.0 and 226 eyes(69.33%) were better than 0.5.No serious complications were found. Conclusion The small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation was safe, economical, practical and had a good effect.
