Abstract
Red light,blue light,red+blue(R+B)light generated by light-emitting diode were applied,and white light generated by fluorescent lamps was used as control.The effects of different light qualities on quality of pea sprouts were studied.The results showed that the contents of vitamin C and soluble protein were the highest and the crude fibre content was the lowest under the blue light among the treatments.The soluble sugar content was the highest,but the vitamin C and soluble protein biosynthesis were significantly inhibited,and the crude fibre content was significantly increased under the red light.So the quality of pea sprouts was best grown under the blue light,and was worst under the red light.
