Abstract
Methods for system-level verification of microprocessors were discussed.A system-level software/hardware coverification platform was developed for verification of 64-bit CPU design.This platform was successfully used to verify the validity and compatibility of IA-64,a self-developed microprocessor,and it could simplify the verification flow and improve both the efficiency and quality of verification.
