Abstract

The functional verification is a complex and important job for embedded CPU.Aiming at the requirement of an 8-bit CPU verification,a system-level automation platform for embedded CPU verification is presented.The platform accomplishes the whole flow of CPU functional verification,such as verification program developing,verification program debugging,verification vector generation,verification testbench,verification configuration environment,coverage analysis,comparison and analysis of results,and FPGA verification.Code coverage analysis is used to evaluate and improve the perfection of the verification.The platform can simplify the flow of verification and shorten the verification cycle greatly.The whole system is of good reference to other CPU verification platform.
