Assess the application effects of diverse nursing interventions applied in ligation of esophageal varices

Objective To research the effectiveness of diverse nursing interventions applied in ligation of esophageal varices. Methods During the time of September 2011 to September 2013, 40 patients who accepted ligation of esophageal varices were selected and divided into group A and group B. The patients in group A were cared by routine care, while the patients in group B were cared by diverse nursing interventions from the pre-treatment, treatment to after treatment. To observe the treatment effects of all the patients. Results There were 19 patients satisfied for the nursing interventions in group B and the nursing satisfaction rate in this group was 95%, which was higher than group A' 80%.And from the days the patients stayed in hospital and the complications proportion, we can also see that the treatment effects in group B was better than group A. All the results above were statistically significance while P0.05. Conclusion Giving a series of nursing interventions to the patients with ligation of esophageal varices can effectively guide the patient to actively cooperate with treatment and improve the success ratio of surgery.
