Clinical Observation on the Cough Reflex Induced by Fentanyl During the General Anesthesia-induced

Objective To investigate the incidence of cough reflex induced by fentanyl and the effects of administration of the order on cough reflex induced by fentanyl during the general anesthesia-induced.Methods 180 patients with ASA classⅠ-Ⅱunder general anesthesia,aged 21-62,were randomly divided into six groups: Sequence used by different administration of propofol(abbreviated P),fentanyl(abbreviated F),vecuronium bromide(abbreviated V) for induction of anesthesia,groups divided as follows: FVP 、FPV、VPF、VFP、PVF、PFV.observe the incidence of cough after administration in 2 mins.Results the incidence of cough of FVPgroup was 40%,the incidence of cough of FPV group was 33.3%,and the incidence of cough was significantly decreased in the rest groups which not the first fentanyl injection.Conclusion General anesthesia induced by first injection of fentanyl may be apparent choking,first injection of muscle relaxant drug or propofol can effectively reduce the incidence of choking induced by fentanyl during the general anesthesia-induced.
