On the Possibility of Establishing a Chinese Literary Theory

Due to the sense of alienation from the Western theory in the current theoretical circles and the universal concern about certainty of the paradigm of literary theory,it is necessary to form a literary theory with Chinese characteristics.The modern transformation of ancient literary theory is not just a simple problem of modernity.It is also related to the relationship between Chinese literary and Western literary theories.The key is to localizing the Western literary theory,based on Chinese ancient literary theory.In addition,systematization and purity of ancient Chinese literary theory will play an important disciplinary role in the present literary theory of the pan-cultural model.
