Abstract
Knighthood is an outstanding unique feature .That can be identified both in Li Bai, a famous Chinese poet and from his works.Exceptionally commendable as it is,knighthood is fully illustrated first by the poet's adherence to promises,his disdain of worldly goods,his bravery in the face of death and his return of the hospitality that he has received,secondly by his lofty ideas of bringing peace to the world,his assistance to the poor and his retirement from the establishad fame in spite of his achievements,and thirdly by his continuous pursuit of freedon,his coretempt for those who are in power,his rebellious characteristics and his pride an aloofness.Through out Li Bai's life,knighthood plays a vital part both in his political and in his literary career,and adds wonderful romantic touches to his poetry.
