Clinical Efficacy Observation of Treatment of Strengthening Spleen Qi Nourishing Yin and Kidney for Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of TCM treatment of strengthening spleen qi,nourishing Yin and kidney for Alzheimer's disease.Methods:40 cases of patients with dementia admitted to hospital in February 2009-February 2012 were randomly divided into treatment and control groups,with 20 cases in each.The control group were treated with citicoline and treatment group used the treatment of strengthening spleen Qi,nourishing Yin and kidney.Observation and analysis of the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients were carried on.MMSE and ADL integral values before and after treatment,and blood lipid and hemorheological changes were observed.Results:The treatment of strengthening spleen Qi,nourishing Yin and kidney of Alzheimer's disease can effectively improve the patients with the MMSE and ADL integral values,which were significantly higher than those before treatment(P0.05).The ADL scores were lower than that before treatment significantly(P0.05).Compared with the control group after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of strengthening spleen Qi,nourishing Yin and kidney has significant clinical efficacy of senile dementia,which can supplement Qi and activate blood circulation,resolve phlegm and stasis and nourish Qi and refresh brain,and it is worthy of promotion.
