Abstract
Based on the analysis of thematic maps functions of MapInfo,this paper takes Henan Province as an example,discusses the process and methods of making drought-prone regions map by MapInfo,expatiates the methods of new identifiers and label text design,and problems and solutions in the process of making thematic map.
