Land-use Status Thematic Mapping and Digitizing Based on MapInfo

Based on analyzing function of MapInfo,this paper illustrated the procedure of making thematic map of land-use status by actual example,i.e.establishing a MapInfo table firstly,then filling in graph and attribute data,finally making the map by using color-filling method or thematic map-making function of MapInfo.Practices proved that this method of making thematic map features was simplicity and quickness,and was capable of providing favorable reference basis for land-use and plan departments.
