Abstract
This paper holds that one's aesthetic ability is not innate, but developed gradually in the process of aesthetic socialization. The contents of aesthetic socialization include arousing aesthetic needs, developing aesthetic ability and learning aesthetic standards. The approaches of aesthetic socialization mainly consist of social guidance and individual aesthetic adoption. On the one hand, aesthetic society prompts aesthetic individual to come into existence; on the other hand, outstanding aesthetic individual facilitates the development of aesthetic society.
