Clinical analysis of the intraductal papilloma of breast(A report of 125 cases)

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the characteristic,diagnosis and treatment of the intraductal papilloma.Methods :The clinical data of 125 cases who were diagnosed as intraductal papilloma from January 2002 to December 2006 were collected and analyzed retrospectively.Results :Among these 125 cases,nipple dischange occurred in 119 cases(95.20%).The confirmed diagnosis rate of intraductal papilloma by galactograghy was 92.43%.Carcinoma-change rate of the intraductal papilloma was 6.40%.Conclusion:Nipple dischange is the most common symptom in the intraductal papillomatesis.The galactography is a valuable method in the diagnosis of the intraductal papilloma.There is carcinoma-change propability in the intraductal papilloma.
