Abstract
Objective: To investigate the changes in the serum uric acid and bilirubin of the patients with coronary heart disease and their clinical significance.Methods:Sixty patients with CHD and 48 healthy subjects of general checkup(control group)were chosen for the experiment..The serum levels of uric acid and bilirubin were measured respectively.Resules:The serum level of uric acid in CHD group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.01);The serum level of total bilirubin in CHD group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.010);There was no significant difference among the others(P0.05);The serum level of indirect bilirubin in CHD group was lower than that in control group(P0.05);There was no difference in the direct bilirubin between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion :The serum levels of uric acid and bilirubin are markedly related with coronary heart disease.
