Abstract

The open policy of Chang-an during the Tang Dynasty revealed pure tolerance and active absorption.Such characteristics enriched the Chinese traditional culture and extended the nation's political influence over the world at that time,as a result the civilization of the Tang Dynasty could be seen all over the world.But it didn't mean that the open policy was perfect, it had its own historical limitations.
