Abstract
Objective To improve the efficacy of operation for patients with prominent mandibular angle along with chin microsomia.Methods Mandibular angle oblique ostectomy by intraoral method.Move the chin forward and downward after horizontal ostectomy,with bone autograft inserted and fixed with Ti screw and plate.Results There were 18 cases in this study and the follow-up varies from 3 months to 2 years with satisfactory result.The transplanted bone autograft is not absorbed.Conclusion This is a good treatment for those with prominent mandibular angle along with malformed chin.
