Clinical Study of Shenfu-Injection Combination Enalapril and Metoprolol on Treating Chronic Congestive Heart Failure

Abstract
Objective:To research the effect of Shenfu-injection combination Enalapril and Metoprolol on the content of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),angiotensin Ⅱ(ATⅡ)and endothelin (ET) in blood plasma of chronic congestive heart failure patients.Methods:Randomly clinical observation method adopted,the treatment group(n=74) was treated with Shenfu-injection combination Enalapril and Metoprolol,and the control group(n=78) was treated with Enalapril combination Metoprolol,to observe the heart function parameter,the content of BNP,ATⅡ and ET in blood plasma before and after treatment,the adverse reaction and therapeutic effect after treatment.Results:The left ventricular ejection fraction,left end-diastole inner diameter and stroke volume of patients in two groups were increased in post-treatment than that of prior-treatment(P0.01).After treatment,there had significant difference of left ventricular ejection fraction and stroke volume between treatment group and control group(P0.05); The content of BNP,ATⅡ and ET in blood plasma of two groups were decreased in post-treatment than that of prior-treatment(P0.01).After treatment,there had significant difference of the content of BNP,ATⅡ and ET in blood plasma between treatment group and control group(P0.05);The total effective rate of treatment group was 89.2%,which was higher than that of control group(80.8%,P0.05).The incidence rate of the adverse reaction in treatment group were lower than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Shenfu-injection combination Enalapril and Metoprolol could regulate endogenous neurohormone,and improve heart function,decrease incidence rate of the adverse reaction,and whose therapeutic effect is super to that of Enalapril and Metoprolol.
