Analysis on Competitive Character of World Elite Woman Water Polo Teams

Abstract

thorough using the method of video-watching and statistical analysis,this paper analyzed the basic character of competitive strength of world elite woman water polo teams.The result showed that the average age of top eight teams in Olympic Games was about 25～28.After analyzing the technical and tactical application of top eight teams in 2004 Athens Olympic Games and 2005 World Championships,the author found out that the overall attack ability was strong of world elite teams and the score of positional attack was above the 70%of total score.The technical and tactical character of power quick combination and attack defense incorporation was significant obvious.
