Abstract

The Taoist Philosopher,Kou Qianzhi of North Wei Dynasty,complemented Taoism with Confucianism,mainly its principles of proper rite,priority of sage in promotion,principle of mean,positivism,and the separation between man and woman.His reformation on Taoism was corollary of his strategy of complementing Taoism with Confucianism.
