As a famous Taoist, Zhang Sanfeng has practised Taoism with a great concentration, keeping quiet all his life and giving up fame and gain. He not only inherites and enriches the Neidan theories of Tang and Song's Taoists, but also seeks unity of Confucianism, buddism and Taoism, and carries it to a new stage.
