Abstract
An improved cascaded-integrator-comb(CIC) filter is proposed in the paper.The delay factor of the traditional CIC filter is changed in the improved filter and the sharpen technique and the polyphase decomposition technique are applied to the filter.Compared with the traditional filter,the improved filter has less signal distortion and power consumption.The simulation result shows that the improved filter has a small passband droop and a higher bandstop attenuation.
