Abstract
The reason of the conventional CIC(Cascade Intergrator Comb) filter's undesirable amplitude-frequency response is analysed, and the performance of the CIC filter is enhanced by using a cosine filter and a compensation filter respectively. It is shown in the result of simulation that the stop-band attenuation of the improved CIC filter makes 26dB better than the traditional CIC.Besides the characteristic of the pass-band is modified evidently. The features of its implementation structure suggests that the improved CIC filter is of great significance in the practical application and further study.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
