Abstract
In the condition of pH 2.0-3.5, aniline blue (AB) reacts with kanamycin sulfate(KANA) to form ion-association complexes, which make the color of AB faded. The maximum fading wavelength is at 606 nm. The apparent molar absorptivity (e) is 2.72×10~4 L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1) and Beer' law is obeyed in the concentration range 0-1.5×10~(-5) mol/L. The method has been applied for determination of the real sample with a satisfactory result.
