Abstract
The result of monitoring showed that the water quality of Dianshanhu Lake and Upper reach of Huangpu River, the important freshwater resources in the west of Shanghai was between light and medium pollution levels. The amount of petroleum was obviously higher than national fishery water quality standard. And there were no signifioant differences of water quality in different seasons.
