Abstract
This study monitored the fishery water quality of two aquatic germ plasm resources in the Ningxia reach of the Yellow River in 2013. With fourteen parameters adopted for monitoring, the water quality was assessed by single pollution index and comprehensive pollution index, and the ratio of main pollutants was analyzed by load proportion. The results showed that the water quality was in a polluted status, and the main pollutants were non- ionic ammonia, volatile phenol, total nitrogen and total phosphorus, which accounted for a share rate of more than 70% of total pollutants. Mercury and copper were the intermittent pollutants. Pollutants were mainly from upstream. The water quality in the Ningxia reach of the Yellow River does not conform to the fishery water quality standard, and was evaluated as pollution by the comprehensive evaluation. This study evaluated the water quality from the perspective of fishery water quality, thereby providing data basis for protection of aquatic resources.
