Analysis of a Regional Rainstorm in Suizhong

Abstract
The regional rainstorm and heavy rainstorm in some areas in Suizhong of Liaoning during July 19th~ 20th,2010 were analyzed by using the data of routine observation,weather situation and satellite cloud picture.The results showed that subtropical high moving northward stably was the basic reason of the heavy rainfall.Southwest vortex moving northward for the process provided abundant moisture and thermal conditions for convergent upward.Cold air moving east and southward provided impetus lifting conditions for the process.
