Abstract
Modouhe Mo-polymetallic deposit is a complex ore deposit of porphyry, skarn and vein type of ores located at north side of Dabie mountain in the middle of East Qinling-Dabie Mo ore belt. The ore deposit area is exposed to multi-staged regional metamorphism with frequent magmatism.Palaeo-proterozoic stata of Qijiaoshan formation and Neo-proterozoic strata of Huwan formation of Sujiahe group are exposed.Based on regional geological setting, geological feature of the ore deposit area, comprehensive metallogenic environment and geochemical anomly characteristics we think that the ore deposit area is superior in metallogenic condition with tremendous prospecting potentiality. It is predicted that big porphyry molybdenum ore body may occur to depth of the deposit.
