Abstract
Objective:To study the effects of low dose of cisplatin on Hela cell apoptosis induced by radiotherapy( RT).Methods:The Hela cells were divided into four groups: control group ,RT alone, chemotherapy(ChT) alone and RT combined with ChT group .The apoptosis rate of Hela cell was detected by a modified in situ TUNEL technique .Results:RT and ChT could induce Hela cell apoptosis and cisplatin(ChT) could obviously enhance Hela cell apoptosis induced by RT. Conclusion:Low dose of cisplatin can obviously enhance Hela cell apoptosis, induced by RT,providing academic proof for clinical use of low dose of cisplatin to enhance cell apoptosis induced by RT.
