Abstract
This paper discusses the implementation of a rotor flux and speed observer based on a PI model reference adaptive system(MRAS), which has high precision and robustness. A magnetic field oriented vector control(FOC) system without speed sensor for induction motor is presented. Then, the digital implementation of the system based on DSP is introduced. The simulation and experiment results show that the system has good performance in torque and speed.
