Abstract

This paper discusses a new sensorless vector control system of inductor motor. The implementation of a rotor flux and speed observer based on a PI model reference adaptive system(MARS) is pinpointed. The flux observer is a self-adaptive observer of the rotor flux based on the current model and voltage model. The stability of the speed observer is as-sured by Popov principle. And a speed sensorless field oriented control(FOC) system for induction motor is presented. Then, the digital implementation of the system based on TMS320F240 DSP is introduced. The experimental results show that the system possesses excellent torque and speed performance and the flux and speed observing arithmetic is accurate.
