Abstract
The Literary Mind and Carving of Dragons exert great influence on the construction of literature and culture in the early Tang Dynasty.By analysing this influence,we could find the literati in the early Tang Dynasty have deepened their awareness of literary theory,including the literary concept of trace to source influenced by original,Zheng Sheng and studying classic,the academic tendency advocating knowledge and the promoting impact that the duality of Tong Bian and wen and zhi played on the theoretical integration of North and South in the early Tang Dynasty.All the awareness that influenced by the Literary Mind and Carving of Dragons promoted the healthy development of literary creation in this period and also decided the positive effects that culture and literature in the early Tang Dynasty played in the conversion from Weijin and Six Dynasties to the flourishing Tang Dynasty.
