Abstract
Objective:To establish a method for the content determination of ketoconazole and metronidazole in Compound Ketoconazole Cream by RP-HPLC. Methods:The Diamonsil C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm) column was used. The mobile phases consisted of acetonitrile and water (74∶36),the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and the detection wavelength was at 239 nm. Results:The linear ranges of ketoconazole was at 0.06-2.10 μg (r=0.999 5),the average recovery was 98.89% with a RSD of 1.40%; the linear ranges of metronidazole was at 0.06-2.10 μg (r=0.999 1),the average recovery was 98.75% with a RSD of 1.10%. Conclusion:The method is fast, reliable, accurate and can be used in the quality control of ketoconazole and metronidazole in Compound Ketoconazole Cream.
