Abstract
With land expansion measure indexes,buffer analysis and the grid sample method,this paper analyses Shenzhen city on its construction land expansion characteristic and traffic driving effect during the three stages: 1996- 2000,2000- 2005 and 2005- 2009 years,main conclusions are: 1the construction land expansion scale,intensity and gravity center transfer is different in these stages,during 1996- 2005 year,the construction land has been in expanding period,its expansion intensity keeps on increasing,and its gravity center turns to the northwest; since 2005 year,it has entered into a reduction growth stage,its expansion intensity begins to reduce,and its gravity center turns to the southwest. 2 the city construction land expansion mode changes a lot in different stages,which varies from jumping cluster layout along the traffic line to zonal distribution and then to a mainly reverse expansion,city planning,industrial development policy,real estate development,urban village construction and so on,is the important drivers. 3the paper confirms the viewpoint that traffic line has an obvious axial role during city expansion; at the same time,it also has a new discovery,that is the traffic line space guiding effects in a city different development stage is different. 4 in the future,land use regulation in Shenzhen should adjust in such aspects as tapping the potential,external expansion and changing the plan ideas.
