Research on the regional construction land growth of Taizhou City in the last 20 years

Based on multi-temporal LandsatTM and ETM satellite images,with the help of GIS software,The article extracts the construction land information of Taizhou city and analyse the expansion law of construction land in Taizhou and puts forward the main driving factors of construction land expansion by using spatial autocorrelation index.The results are as follows: the expansion of construction land in Taizhou has experienced a slow expansion-the expansion of medium-speed-slow expansion process;by analysing the process of construction land expansion,based on the different features of the various stages of construction land expansion.The article find out three internal expansion mode: point of expansion,inter-axis of expansionand network expansion,Taizhou Metropolitan Area and Jiangyan Area are the hot-spots for the construction land expanding,while the north of Xinghua and the boundary among Taixing,Jingjiang and Jiangyan are large cool-spots.(4) From natural and social view of the expansion of construction land in Taizhou,The article summarizes four key driving factors: economic concentration,the spread of population,traffic trends and government decision-making.
