Ureteroscopy in treatment of ureteral calculi with renal colic during emergency

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Ureteroscopy in treatment of ureteral calculi with renal colic during emergency.Methods A total of 80 cases of ureteral calculi with renal colic during emergency were treated by ureteroscopy and transureteroscope holmium laser lithotripsy.Results Successful removal of ureteral calculi were achieved in 60 cases.Renal colic was immediately cured.No complications occurred.Conclusion Ureteroscopy is an easy,safe and effective method for the treatment of ureteral calculi with renal colic during emergency.
