Abstract
The Sebei gas field as a major gas field of PetroChina Qinghai Oilfield Company is a Quaternary biogenetic gas reservoir with self-sourcing and self-reservoiring hydrocarbon origins.Even though the natural gas in this field contains methane more than 98%,a little bit nitrogen but no sulfur,the yield of gas has been restricted by bad diagenetic rocks,sanding formation,and poorly interconnected or undercompacted rocks.After many years of study and investigation,engineers and technical staff in this company have completed a series of gas recovery technology adapt for the Sebei gas field based on separation layer gas recovery,which helped enhance the production capacity of a single well,and promote the exploitation to a certain level in this field.
