Abstract

The surface technology in the Sebei gas field starts its initial step by following the successful experiencs from other oil and gas fields, but with the increase of its annual gas yield,a surface technology oriented is most demanded for this field.Through comparison analysis on the present two sets of ground installations, this study optimally selected the separation process at atmospheric temperature and optimized its technology and process as follows:wellhead protector installed, single throttling at the station,auto-blowdown of the separator,self-ignition of the heating furnace, centralized dehydrating at the terminal, flanges and valves renewed and improved, and reasonable choice between horizontal and vertical gravity separator. The optimized separation technology and process has been proved to be adaptable for the development of the Sebei gas field, and thus providing theoretical and practical foundation for the PetroChina Qinghai Oilfield Company to complete its important project on building An Exemplary Station of Non-Sour Gas Fields.
