Abstract
As a great work by Wang Yinzhi,Jing Yi Shu Wen contains such leading linguistic theories embodied in Jing Zhuan Shi Ci as contiguous meaning underpinning its near sound, word interpreting underpinning its context and so on.Actually most of Wang's thoughts still hold today. Jing Yi Shu Wen is permeated with Wang's talented ability in linguistic observation, analysis and sensibility, thus forming his lingnistic theories, mainly reflected in his interpretation of function words in Jing Zhuan Shi Ci and on his more thought to the syntactic analysis of Jing Yi Shu Wen. A deep understanding of Wang Yinzhi's grammatical conception can be achieved through the comparative study of the two books.
